Every day, the system checks if contacts who previously purchased a product match three conditions: the product’s price dropped yesterday, their last purchase happened between 30 and 365 days ago, and they have email consent. If the contact isn’t in the Capping email segment, the system sends an email with products they’ve previously purchased that are now cheaper. Once the message is sent, a Capping email event and segment are added to pause further messages for seven days.
