Linux System Admin
User.com is a business process automation platform. The application processes a vast amount of data and handles millions of users worldwide, every day.
We are looking for an experienced systems admin who knows Linux like his own back pocket.
Responsibilities of our Linux Systems Administrator include:
maintenance of 40-50 dedicated servers,
analysis of system and application logs (we use Kibany, DataDog + any tool which you think provides meaningful information in analyzing billions of events every day),
development of “staging” environments and testing Kubernetes.
We expect candidates to:
know automation tools (like Ansible),
know Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL from a DevOps perspective,
be a Linux master who knows about shell scripting and configuration,
strive for broad automation,
have experience in sharding, recovery and optimisation,
have experience in working with HaProxy and nginx,
have experience in configuring cloud services, GCP, AWS, Terraform.
Nice to have:
understanding of python-based applications (Django, celery),
knowledge of the Hashicorp stack: Terraform, vault, packer, consul,
knowledge of infrastructure security and hardening,
keen interest in Kubernetes, Mesos
